Don’t Drink … Gamble!

by Isaiah on Jul.03, 2016, under Casino

If you enjoy a cocktail ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your pocketbook, your wallet, and keep all cash, charge cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Take only the money you anticipate to use on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to squander and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can have a profit after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be lucky sufficiently to catch a marathon toss at a hot craps game. Keep that account because it is as brief as it gets if you regularly drink and wager. These activities just don’t go well together.

Leaving your money at home is a bit drastic, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is necessary. If you bet to win, then do not drink and gamble. If you like to blow your $$$$ nary a worry, then consume all the no charge booze you are able to handle, but don’t carry charge cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your drunken head squanders all the cash!

Permit me to carry this a single step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on to the internet to gamble in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a drink from the comfort of my domicile, but seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t drink and wager.

What’s the reason? Although I don’t drink a lot, once I drink, it is absolutely sufficient to blur my common sense. I wager, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet at the same time. Both make for a ferocious, and expensive, cocktail.
